Apparently, the restaurant is a mile away from my apartment and in the 2 years I’ve lived here, I had never noticed it. I need to pay attention more because this place is a gem! My boyfriend and I randomly stopped in on a Sunday night after a baseball game and as soon as we walked in I knew it was the start of something good.

The place is dimly lit with communal seating (in addition to private tables) and the best of 90s R&B playing overhead (jackpot). We opted to sit at the communal table because there was immediate seating. The waitress was super sweet and offered my boyfriend samples of 3 types of beer that he was torn between. I ordered a huge burger with a fried egg and my boyfriend got an assortment of tacos (he opted to have his in lettuce wraps) and a shrimp bao. I ate most of his fish taco and the shrimp bao because it was amazing!!!

Light, fresh and perfectly seasoned. My burger was tasty and huge! The fries were yummy and fresh. I’m pretty sure they’re more known for their burgers but I’m definitely ordering fish and shrimp next trip because I definitely will be back!
